About Our Doctor
Dr. David Swan is the director of the Implant Dentistry Division. Dr. Swan is a 1984 graduate of the University of Michigan School of Dentistry and has been actively involved in implant dentistry since that time. Dr. Swan completed a postgraduate residency at Sinai Hospital of Detroit in 1985 and has received advanced training at the world-renowned Misch Implant Institute and the L.D. Pankey Institute. He is a member of numerous dental organizations and has achieved Diplomate status with the International Congress of Oral Implantologists and is a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry and the Misch Implant Institute. Dr. Swan is also the founder and first president of the Northern Michigan Implant Study Club and has written and lectured frequently about dental implants. Dr. Swan is a general dentist with extensive training and experience in implant placement, restoration and intravenous sedation. Our office has a fully equipped, state-of-the-art surgical suite and works with several types of implant systems depending on the needs of the client. In implant dentistry, one size (or type) definitely does not fit all! |
